Born November 12, 2018, Mel is one year old today!
I first created Mel as an outlet for my frustrations and sarcasm, as neither had any place on the mat. It was amazing to realise how AikiComics developed a life of its own with every suggestion, request, comment, or experience shared with me. I’m enjoying this journey so much and I would like to thank you all for your encouragement and support.
A special thank you to Daniel Brasse Sensei and to those who share the mat with me at Aikido By the Bay, California. They are the constant inspiration that keeps AikiComics going… Not always knowingly… :)
